Soledad Schroeder, known fondly as Chole, passed away on June 27, 202, at her home in West Covina, California. She was born on October 28, 1928, in San Salvador, El Salvador.
Chole was a vibrant soul who touched the lives of many with her love for dancing She would sway to the rhythms of salsa, merengue, and cumbias creating unforgettable memories for those around her. One particularly beautiful was when she danced to "Amor de Mis Amores" with Martin at a friend's house, surrounded by loved ones who marveled at the connection they shared.
Her personality was a unique blend of love and tough love. She cared deeply for everyone, often expressing her protection through her strong yet nurturing demeanor. Chole was always willing to offer a helping hand and had a social nature that drew people towards her.
Beyond dancing, she found joy in sewing clothing for herself and her family. Making dresses for her daughter was one of her beloved hobbies that showcased her creativity and care.
Chole's proudest accomplishment was undoubtedly her family. She took immense pride in witnessing the success of her children and grandchildren. Her strictness stemmed from a deep desire to ensure they received a good education and stayed on the path towards their dreams.
She is survived by her daughter Dora Concepcion Andrade, sister Edith Annabel Farfan, life partner Martin Ramos, 5 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her mother Concepcion Jimenez.
