Robert Magaña Uribe Jr.

Robert was born on August 23, 1984, to Raquel and Robert Uribe Sr. From the very beginning, his life was marked by strength and determination. At just 2 years old, Robert was diagnosed with cancer. Although the road ahead was uncertain, he faced that battle with incredible courage and, by God’s grace, became a cancer survivor. His story became a testimony of perseverance, hope, and the faithfulness of God.

He loved playing basketball, watching baseball especially cheering on the LA Dodgers and never missed an opportunity to support his favorite teams, the LA Lakers and the Raiders. He enjoyed firing up the barbecue, gathering everyone together. Some of his happiest moments were spent playing video games with his nephews, who adored their Uncle Robert. Those moments of laughter, competition, and love are memories they will carry with them forever.

In 2019, Robert experienced one of the greatest heartbreaks of his life with the passing of his father, Robert Uribe Sr. He loved and missed his dad deeply. While losing his father left an ache in his heart, he carried his father’s memory with him every day and found comfort in the love of his family.

On June 11, 2026 Robert’s earthly journey came to an unexpected end in a tragic automobile accident while traveling with his mother. Even in those final moments, Robert’s instinct was to protect her. His courage and selfless love reflected the man he had always been. To his family, Robert will forever be remembered not only as a beloved son and brother, but as a true hero whose final act was one of love.

Robert leaves behind his loving mother, Raquel Uribe; his sisters, Mariam and Rachel Uribe; his brothers, Obed and Aaron Uribe; along with his cherished nieces, nephews, extended family, and countless friends whose lives were forever changed by knowing him. He is now joyfully reunited in Heaven with his beloved father, Robert Uribe Sr., whom he missed so much.

Robert’s legacy is one of courage, resilience, laughter, faith, and unconditional love. He overcame cancer as a child, loved his family with his whole heart, lived each day with kindness, and left this world as he lived in it thinking of others before himself.
