Maria Medina, a beloved caregiver and a cherished soul, was born in Durango, Mexico, on April 11, 1961. Her compassionate spirit and unwavering dedication to nurturing those around her defined her life’s purpose and left an indelible mark on the hearts of many.
During her career as a caregiver, Maria devoted herself selflessly to others, providing comfort, support, and love to those in need. Her ability to connect with people was remarkable, always managing to light up a room with her warmth and infectious smile. She saw every individual as deserving of dignity and kindness, and her nurturing touch transformed many lives.
After facing an illness bravely, Maria passed away on July 1, 2025, in East Los Angeles. Although she has left this earthly realm, the positive impact she made will forever resonate in the lives of those who knew her.
Maria is survived by her beloved daughter, Vanessa Singh, who was a source of pride and joy for her. The bond they shared was unbreakable, filled with laughter, love, and countless cherished memories. Maria is also survived by her dear sister, Grace, who stood by her through the ups and downs, always providing unwavering support and love. Their sisterly bond was one of mutual respect and profound affection.
A memorial service to honor Maria’s life and legacy will be held at the Eastside Christian Church, located at 3330 E Miraloma Ave, Anaheim, CA 92806, on July 25, 2025. The service will begin at 10:30 AM. It will be a heartfelt gathering to celebrate the life of a remarkable woman whose compassion and love knew no bounds.
