Maria Norberta Garcia, lovingly known as Betty, passed away on November 23, 2023, in Mission Hills, California. She was born on February 1, 1960, in Los Mochis, Sinaloa, Mexico. Maria's life was a beautiful example of dedication, love, and creativity.
Maria dedicated an impressive 35 years of her life to serving others as a clerk at the Olive-View Medical Center. Her commitment and hard work were renowned by her colleagues and the community she served. Maria's unwavering presence provided comfort to those who needed it most during their healthcare journey.
Beyond her professional career, Maria had a passion for cooking traditional Mexican food and baking. She found joy in experimenting with new recipes, infusing her creations with love and flavors that brought people together. Her kitchen was a place of warmth and delicious aromas that could only be matched by her kind and welcoming nature.
Maria was not only talented in the culinary arts but also had a knack for Do-it-Yourself projects. She enjoyed sewing and decorating for holidays, creating an atmosphere of joy and celebration for her loved ones. Her creativity knew no bounds, bringing smiles to the faces of everyone who admired her handiwork.
But perhaps Maria's proudest accomplishments were her two sons, Adan and Manuel . She held great pride in their achievements and relished in witnessing their success in every aspect of life. Maria's love for her children overflowed from her heart, guiding them with wisdom and showering them with affection.
Throughout her life, Maria embodied friendliness and kindness towards everyone she encountered. Her warm smile welcomed friends and strangers alike into her world of compassion. To honor Maria's memory and celebrate her remarkable life an event will be held on January 3, 2024. A Mass will take place at the Santa Rosa Catholic Church in San Fernando, California, starting at 10:00 AM. Following the Mass, a Graveside Service will be held at Glen Haven and Shalom Memorial Park in Sylmar, California, beginning at 12:00 PM. The address for the church is 668 South Workman Street, San Fernando, CA 91340 and for the memorial park is 13017 Lopez Canyon Road, Sylmar, CA 91342.
Maria Norberta Garcia leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends, as well as all those whose lives she touched with her genuine warmth and caring nature.
