He was born on July 23, 1939, in San Antonio Guaracha, Michoacan, Mexico to loving parents who instilled in him values of hard work, joy, and family.

Eleuterio will forever be remembered for his joyful spirit and love for life. Those close to him cherished his cheerful demeanor and contagious laughter. He had a way of bringing light into any room he entered. Eleuterio's favorite saying was "No se fijen como vengo, lo bueno es que ya llegué" which means "Don't mind how I come; the good thing is that I'm here."
