Carlos Antonio Meza, a beloved construction worker, has left us with heavy hearts as we mourn his passing. He was a man who not only built structures with his hands but also created memories and touched the lives of those around him. Carlos, born on July 7, 1975, in Canoga Park, California, breathed his last breath on October 17, 2023, in Encino, California.

Growing up in Canoga Park, Carlos developed a deep connection with his roots. However, it was his trips to the ranch in Sinaloa, Mexico alongside his father that truly left an indelible mark on his heart. He would fondly recall those moments and speak of them with such joy and nostalgia.

Described as a happy soul and a social butterfly, Carlos possessed the remarkable ability to make anyone feel like an old friend within minutes of meeting him. His infectious laughter and warm personality would light up a room and create an atmosphere of genuine camaraderie. Carlos was indeed a free spirit who believed in lending a helping hand whenever he could. There was no hesitation; he simply saw someone in need and offered assistance without second thought.

Football held a special place in Carlos's heart since his high school days when he participated actively as a player. His love for the sport continued throughout his life as he cherished watching the San Francisco 49ers play with his brother by his side. Baseball also captivated Carlos's attention, and he passionately cheered for The Los Angeles Dodgers. These sports embodied the spirit of competitiveness and teamwork that resonated deeply within him.

While Carlos found immense joy in various aspects of life, nothing brought him greater pride than being a father to his two children – Atziry Meza and Cristian Meza. They were the reflection of everything that mattered to him most. Carlos loved witnessing their triumphs and accomplishments as they grew older. Though he may not have always known how to express it fully, his love for them was unconditional, and they held a special place in his heart.

Carlos is survived by his loving mother, Olivia Meza, his father, Rafael Meza, his children Atziry, and Cristian, his Siblings, Juan Francisco Meza and Eva Lilian Meza, and his nieces, Angelique, and Genesis, and is his aunt and uncles as well as his cousins. As we bid farewell to Carlos Antonio Meza, let us remember him for the joy he brought into our lives, the laughter he shared so freely, and the selfless kindness he displayed without hesitation.
