Angela Santos Morataya, lovingly known as Angy, was a remarkable woman who lived a life filled with love, laughter, and a deep sense of dedication to her family. On October 24, 2023, Angela passed away peacefully with her family and friends by her bedside at Centinela Hospital in Inglewood, California. She was born on May 10, 1938, in San Jose Pineal, Guatemala.

Angela had an illustrious career as a secretary in a Law Firm. Her attention to detail and professionalism were unmatched. She took great pride in her work and was admired by colleagues and clients alike.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Angela's true joy came from the relationships she built with her family and friends. She had a warm and caring personality that touched the lives of everyone she met. Angela always believed in being good to others and encouraged those around her to build a relationship with God.

Angela had a great sense of humor that brought laughter to all who knew her. She had an infectious smile that could light up any room. Her love for dancing and playing all kinds of music added rhythm and joy to many happy occasions. Angela particularly enjoyed traveling to Las Vegas, Nevada, where she would let loose, have fun, and create lasting memories.

In her free time, Angela loved taking walks in the neighborhood park. She found solace in nature's beauty and cherished these moments of tranquility.

One of Angela's proudest accomplishments was her lovely family. She leaves behind a legacy of love that will forever be cherished by her Mother: Fidelina Morataya; children: Lisseth Porras, Gladys Santos, Evelyn Castellanos Santos, Eric Vinicio Castellanos; her granddaughters Luisa Fernanda Rivas, Andrea Rivas, Maria Jose; Grandsons Pablo Castellanos, Gabriel Castellanos, Kevin; Great Grandson Johan; Reunited now with her Father Ignacio Santos And 17 Siblings; as well as other extended family members and dear friends who preceded her in death.

Angela's memory will be honored through several services. A visitation will take place on November 3, 2023, at Amor Eterno Funerals - (Inglewood Mortuary) located at 1206 Centinela Avenue in Inglewood, CA. The visitation will begin at 10:00 AM and conclude at 2:00 PM.

Following the visitation, a Funeral Service, celebrating Angela's life, will be held at the same location from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM.

Later in the day, a Memorial Gathering will be held to share memories and celebrate Angela's life. The gathering will take place on November 3, 2023, at Porras Family Residence located at 6922 10th Avenue in Los Angeles, CA. It will start at 3:00 PM and continue until 7:00 PM.

Angela Santos Morataya was a remarkable woman whose impact on the lives of those around her cannot be overstated. She will always be remembered for her kindness, infectious laughter, and unwavering love for her family. May her soul rest in eternal peace.
